Greetings, readers! The first few weeks of March have been so full of blessings and fun activities that it has been hard to set aside time to post to this blog. I write from Northern California, where I am visiting Stanford University. Tomorrow, I head to Berkeley to visit their campus. As I wrote a few weeks ago, I am relocating to California this summer and beginning doctoral studies in education policy at one of these two wonderful institutions.
Stanford has been a gracious host, and has planned back-to-back activities to introduce me to its programs, professors and my potential peers. But when I woke up this morning, I had no desire to get out of bed. So, after my morning quiet time, I opened my computer and brought it back to bed with me. I am grateful for this time to slow down in the midst of all the wonderful things in my life. Here are the other things I am celebrating:
