I am a woman who loves rituals and routines. My favorites surround the beginning of the New Year. I begin by reflecting on the year that has passed, using prompts I have collected over the years from numerous retreats and workshops. Once I have taken stock of the year that has passed, I am ready to start dreaming of the future. Usually, I spend all day at home on New Year's Day in my pajamas. I read. I write. I think. I dream. I record my dreams on paper... so I can remember them. Then, I pray, and ask for God's blessing.
As part of this year's reflection, I set out to list 25 things I am proud of accomplishing in 2016:
As you can see, I had many reasons to be joyful and content in 2016, even in the midst of all the challenges it brought. I am so grateful for the ABUNDANCE of blessings the Divine showered on me this past year. And I am looking forward to whatever 2017 throws my way, knowing that my faith and trust in the Divine will be enough to carry me through it all.
Simply and abundantly yours,
