I have been traveling quite a bit lately. In the last two weeks, I was in Miami and New York City twice. I love exploring new places and visiting old favorites. But it leaves me feeling a little ... scattered. I've been home since Monday evening, and I have been recovering every since. I have been doing laundry, putting away things, getting organized, and trying to get centered and rooted once more. This weekend, I will be taking two or three yoga classes, which also will help me feel more grounded. I am grateful to have a place where I can practice that is close to home. These are some of the other things I am celebrating this week:
Give the gratitude practice a try. Some people like writing down 3 things for which they are grateful before going to bed at night. I honestly forget most evenings, so I usually begin my day reflecting on the previous day's blessings. That really also helps my depression.
As you move through the day, take notice of are three things for which you can express gratitude.
